Glacier traversed the side of the mountains searching for her morning meal. The freshly fallen snow on the mountains helped her fur blend in to the snow. Her bright blue eyes almost completely closed so as not to give her position away. She moved an inch at a time then scanned the area for prey or predators. If she spotted a predator then she would have to remain as still as the snow beneath her. But for now she saw neither. Several minutes later she heard the sound of something digging in the snow. Her ears twitched as she tried to zone in on the sound. Yes, there it was, it was a rabbit. Slowly she crept closer to her prey. Once it was in sight she crouched down practically lying on the snow. The rabbit had no idea that a predator was about to pounce. It was to busy trying to dig up the grass that had been berried during the night. With a twitch on her long beautiful tail she pounced pinning the rabbit beneath her claws. The rabbit let out a loud squeal before she bit down on it's throat killing it. Standing up she would no longer be invisible for blood had stained her front paws and her mouth. She picked up her kill and began to run quickly back to her den. Halfway to her den Glacier stopped. What was that? She was sure she had heard the crunch of snow, and it wasn't from a rabbit or a mouse. It was something bigger. "Is anyone there?" She shook in fear hoping it had been her imagination. She crouched low to the snow hoping the snow would hide her even with her paws and mouth stained with her kills blood.

The black and grey fox trudged through the snow, occasionally leaping and prancing. Not aware that his Black coat made him stand out like a sore thumb. He didn't know what he was looking for, or what he was doing his only instinct told him just one thing: Survive. This hadn't been very successful because creatures saw him coming from miles away. As he was padding throgh the winter wonderland he heard a loud squeal. Ears perked up he crouched down low and crept forward. The years of solitude had made it so he didn't know how to act around other foxes, so when he saw the blood stained paws he let out an excited chirp and rushed up to meet the new pure white fox, who was shaking, he got to her and coked his head curiously, what was she doing here? (I know I said he's mute but he can chirp, squeal, growl ect)

The blue griffin gracefully walked through snow, sniffing around to find something to eat. Yes, at home she had food, but it was better hunting on her own or with her friends out here, in the winter. Her pelt had been very helpful with hunting, because the snow's blues would blend her in and the blizzards would cover her in snow.
The griffin had now found something, wait, that wasn't a mouse or a rabbit. No, IT had a rabbit! Hmm, well that was... unexpected. She crouched down, the snow covering her spine, and was ready to pounce but stopped. No, it was too cute! A fox-like creature frozen in fear, aww. Well, she'd wait on her meal, then."Hello" The beast said in a soft voice. Yes, it was bigger than the fox. Quite a lot bigger, actually. Okay, now not to scare her.
The griffin crouched down a tiny bit, making herself not look as big. It worked, but not that greatly. She was still bigger. "My name is Winter, and yours?" She introduced herself.

Glacier didn't see it coming for instead of looking at the fox she was looking in the direction of another creature. She when something tackled her she let out a cry of fear. But after a moment she realized it was just another fox like her. She relaxed some, she hadn't seen another fox since she left her family. Her mom and siblings hadn't wanted her to leave but something had been calling to Glacier. It was good to see another fox again. "Hello there, I didn't see you coming," just then she saw something huge approaching and she let out a squeak of fear. What was that it was huge, it, it, it was a predator. She took a step in front of the fox she just met hoping to protect it somehow. He seemed so young and innocent. Even after it introduced herself Glacier was still afraid and found herself unable to say anything to it. She was shaking uncontrollably, but she had to do or say something. Swallowing she stood up as tall as she could. "I'm Glacier, what do you want Winter? The rabbits mine I killed it and you wouldn't like the taste of me." She swallowed her voice shaking as she spoke her last few words.[/b]

Just as the griffin introduced herself she saw the other fox. Ahh, no! The white one got scared...Oh, yes... griffins weren't actually common around here... Well... it's understandable."Oh, i can hunt for myself and i usually... don't eat talking things..." She said."And it is nice to meet you" She tried to sound calm, not making any risky movements that'd scare the fox even more.Oh, it was protecting another one? Well, she guessed they were friends. But it didn't seem like it.

Sucki was pleased when the other fox didn't seem to be angry but that was soon changed when a large creature came and looked down at both of them, it was quite a bit bigger then either of them but, Sucki had no instinct of danger as he never had meet this creature before. Sucki bounced up to it and flopped into a play-bow, wagging his tail, he leaped around the new creature. It introduced itself as 'Winter' and the other fox as 'Glacier' He barked out his own name "Sucki! Sucki!" Ne barked willing them to get the message

The griffin listened to the foxes. Oh! The black one wasn't scared! "It is nice to meet you, Glacier and Sucki." She said. She swished her tail on the ground, pushing the snow off of it. "So, what are you guys doing here? Hunting?" The griffin asked the two. She laid down, tired of standing crouched down. Her fluffy ears and fur bristled a few times. The tempeture was getting a bit higher, as well as the morning turning to noon.

Glacier let out a yip of surprise as the little black fox went running towards the huge.. what was that thing? It looked like an eagle with lion legs and a tail. She had never seen anything like that before. Sucki? The black fur barked twice with something that sounded like Sucki, when the eagle lion called it Sucki she must of been right. As Winter asked her what they where doing then said hunting Glacier blinked then looked down at her bloodied claws where the rabbit lay beside them. "Yea pretty obvious don't you think? Dead rabbit at my feet, bloodied claws, bloodied mouth. Yea I've been hunting." Was this creature blind or just stupid? "As for Sucki I have no idea I just met him."

Sucki's excitement didn't waver when Winter stated that she didn't eat talking animals, he was mute but he didn't care very much, he could communicate just as well with his body then with words. The griffin swished its tail at the same time Sucki came hurtling over it and he got covered in snow, looking up from the pile of snow he blinked and lept out showering snow everywhere.
Glancing at Glacier she said that she had no idea what he was doing he realised that he needed to tell them he was mute, picking up his tail he waved it over his nuzzle, after doing this he shook his head to indicate he can't talk. Hopefully they would understand this, surely?
