JaggaAn armored creature came to the end of the forest and the wall of trees opened up to reveal the expanse of grassy plains. As her bright, green eyes adjusted to the sun's light, she knew that her several day's journey had come to an end at last. Or rather, was a new beginning. For Jagga, the herdless female, this would hopefully be the place to find others of her kind. Because this land was known as the Meeting Grounds, the place where herds of Kylo beasts would show up to graze, meet, and share information with their fellow species. Jagga hadn't been here since she was a calf, but it was as decent a place as she remembered. The open landscape had nothing but lush grass, and the golden sun peeked out from the mountains in the horizon. It was a great place. Only...something was wrong. There were no Kylos in sight. The plains were too quiet. It was possible that they were further up the plains, but Jagga was worried about something else...what if predators had found this place? She cautiously took a few steps forward, blowing air out of her nose. She knew she was exposed, being the only creature here at the moment, but if there was danger...bring it. She'd had worse things happen as a loner and she could use a fight to show those meat-eaters a lesson or two. -- [RP for Kylo Beasts, but you are allowed to bring in a non-kylo character if it adds to the story. Like if its a predator or something to make it interesting.]

A silent shadow stalked the egde of the clearing, he watched a young female stroll in. He recognised her briefly, probably from the meeting grounds when they were children. He had been part of a herd when he was young, he was only there because his mother was a nurse to the the leaders young, as soon as they were old enough to eat solids he and his mother were cast out. His mother had died shortly after leaving him to fend for himself. Pitch strolled to the edge of the clearing and stood silently, his ice blue eyes bright against his glimmering black body. He watched the female anxiously, hostile or not?

All her life Blue had been searching for the place she remembered from her childhood before she had been separated from her mother and heard. Their herd had been attacked by a group of predators and her mother had told her to run and hide. She had done so, she had just been weened from her mom but she was still very small so she rolled in some mud like her mom had taught her then hid beneath some thorn bush's which would make it harder for them to get to her. For hours she had hid there waiting for her mother to come get her like she always planned she would. As night came she had stayed there to afraid to leave. For two days she stayed hidden. Finally her hunger to great she came out of her hiding place to find her herd no where to be found. Ever since she had been on her own looking for her herd. Now finally after so long she had found the place her mother had taken her to shorty after she had been born. She spotted to Kylos and she became overjoyed. They where the first she had seen since that day. She began running towards brown and black one, so happy to have found what she thought was her heard she had forgotten to be quiet and look for predators.

AlloyAlloy was bitter and annoyed and honestly altogether just a mess. Nobody appreciated her ideas and those who opposed them left too soon or too angry to debate with them again. She'd made an enemy of all her herd, and she'd inevitably been forced out by popular vote. But that was fine. A silver streak prowled through the trees. She was the same color as the stone, and as the metals found within. She was unyielding but beautiful. She hid the great fount of ideas within her. She did not argue, she did not speak. Not anymore. There was nobody to talk to, much less debate with. She found herself, finally, at the old meeting grounds. She scoffed, getting ready to leave, but there was an energy about the place. She was drawn to the gathering there would inevitably be there. The time alone was making her tired, visibly so, and stressed. She wasn't okay. She spied the undeniable red and dark grey of a creature, and she stepped closer. Somebody - a predator? A Kylo? A Kylo. She was going to step up, perhaps to say something rude and insensitive again and get herself thrown out of another area, but there was a blue roan flash as another ran up to the lone - female, she saw. Both were. She thought she saw something black in the trees, but she couldn't be sure. The immediate thing was the two in the plains. Gold eyes squinted onward, right into the sun's glare, and she stepped forward. She opened her mouth to say something, but it snapped shut. She was uncertain. She simply made her way to the center, where it seemed everyone was gathering, and looked into the green eyes of this red female. Tired and snappy meets arrogant and fearless. She searched this lady's expression without a word. She stood there for a good while, it seemed. It may as well have been years, just standing there. And yet, she continued standing. Start an argument, she dares you. She's got a comeback for every bit, and the round will be lightning-fast. What will this stranger say, as Alloy looks into her eyes? For some reason, she can't wait to find out. (scary scary tired lady) Frostdragon, Inky, @firefly

Grank patrolled the edges of the meeting ground, he stayed here all year round. He had given himself the job of making sure that all meetings here where peaceful. This meeting ground was a place where all could come and give their thoughts and hear the thoughts of others. He wanted no fighting. As he made another round he spotted a Kylo that looked surprisingly much like his except for the top scales and spikes where much lighter. It also had no spikes on it's face like him which meant it was a female. He watched her for a moment and saw her walk towards two other Kylo's. They all seemed so young to him. Grank began to follow them so he could be the surveyor of this meeting and make sure no fights broke out.

A slender shadow moved along the tall trees. The sound of branches breaking were amusing and soothing. A Beautiful Kaylo female came out from the shadows. The bird's song made a nice combination. ''She is the defination of grace'', her friend said to her. For a long time ago. But after a few years, her friend's Words changed into: ''She is a disgrace for this herd, for our herd...'' And so she got kicked out from her own herd. As a loner she lives now. Terra sighed, she stopped for a moment. How could things change so quickly? First of all, he liked her... But just a pitch of betrayal can make him so sensitive. He kicked her OUT. Why... It was rough and tough. She hated the Cold, the darkness and the predators lurking in the shadows. Terra walked down to a lake and looked at her own reflection. She was a light Brown kaylo female with yellow Eyes. She rememberd her own mother call her for Beautiful, that her Brown coat made her look like a graceful creature. She WAS Beauty, and she WAS grace. Before she betrayed her own herd. They all see her as a traitor now. Whatever. Old memories are bad memories. Terra laid down, near the lake. She took a sip from the refreshing water. It had a smell of soil, and a taste of sea grass. Yet it was so pure. The sunrays shined on her light Brown pelt. Her coat was silky, and graceful. Her Eyes were large and unique. Those were her best features. Terra had a slender, yet a robust body made for survival. Yet she had a hard time finding food. Terra let the wind embrace her as a Child. Her Sharp claws were all Dirty, and her Sharp teeth covered in the Cold water she just drank. She needed to rest. Terra felt the Cold wind touch her Brown coat, it felt so nice. Yet it sent Cold shivers down from her spine... What to do, what to do...? She was starving, yet too tired to find food. And she's lonely, so lonely... Too lonely. Being lonely is bad, it can KILL you. Yes, she needed protection. She needed a family. Food, water and love. Yup, love. She didn't feel comfortable being lonely. But Terra was quite used to it now. Urgh, survival... She needed to find a new herd soon. Terra stood up again as she Heard a duck nearby the lake. Terra listened to the sound carefully, this is her chance to get food for once... She stalked the scent of delicious meat. And then she saw a Brown duck, cleaning it's feathers. She crouched down. Her light Brown coat blended well in, then she came closer and closer. She leaped. And caught the duck. Terra broke it's neck quickly and dropped it. Food. Finally. She ate it in a fast pace, the taste of fresh blood made her ill. Yet it felt so nice. Her yellow Eyes shut down for a moment. She took a nap. A few minutes later, Terra woke up. She stood up, stretched her slender body and walked away. She needed to find a Place to stay for the night. Terra then caught a scent of something... Other Kylos!?... Maybe a herd. It was Worth the shot. She had to join a herd right now, and now she had found one! Terra leaped, but she slowed down as she came closer and closer... Until she saw those Kylos'. Once pitch black, that black Kaylo was sure handsome. And a female Kaylo, that female was so graceful. And Another male, grey-ish. She slowly walked to them. ''Uh, hello...'' she said. Oh, she hoped she wouldn't end up dead. Or worse. She stood still, not making a move. Not making a sound. She was nervous, but who wouldn't be? This was her only chance! Terra had to be careful, she didn't want them to see her as a threat...

JaggaOut of the corner of her eye, Jagga glimpsed a flash of black, and saw a Kylo straying out of the forestās edge. She was actually a bit startled by him since his black hide blended in so well, and she wondered if heād been there the whole time and she had just missed him. She stared at him as he looked her way with bright, blue eyes. She had no time to determine if he was a friend or foe. A lighter flash of color caught her attention and she heard the sound of footsteps as another Kylo came running over. Jagga took a step back, but luckily it didnāt seem she was attacking. āGreetings,ā She said quickly, feeling overwhelmed by both Kyloās sudden appearances. Maybe she was actually excited to come meet her? She could see this female was a beautiful blue color with faint, white brindling. Jagga was not alone after all it seemed. It seemed her arrival to the Meeting Grounds signaled the rest to appear. The energy given off by the next Kylo to come out of the trees was entirely different. A striking silver female made her way directly towards her, as if on a mission. Jagga tensed slightly, unsure of her intentions. The female stood in front of her. Jagga waited for her to say something, but no words came. It was as if this silver kylo was boring her yellow gaze into her. What did she want? Was she suspicious of her because she was new? Whatever the case was, she didnāt like the way she was staring at her. Jagga held the femaleās gaze and lifted her chin up. āā¦and greetings to you as well. Is there something wrong?ā She asked her impatiently. Her gaze flickered off from her as a pretty, red roan female slowly approached the growing group of Kylos, and Jagga saw the unique ivory marking that crowned the armor on top of her skull. Clashing with the whiteness of her armor and temple horns, her nose and bridge spikes were reddish brown. She seemed to be hesitant but offered them an unsure āhelloā. Jagga simply nodded her head to this last female because she had more than introductions on her mind as she looked around and addressed each of the Kylo beasts who had shown themselves. āIs this a herd? Or are all of you strangers to each other? I have not been here for a long time but I remember there used to be giant herds walking the plains.ā
(Hi Fae ! Great post but just a reminder that Kylos are herbivores and donāt hunt. Their diet is on the description of the adoption page.)

The silent shadow of Pitch watched as a blue Kylo with white streaks on their hide run towards the first one, no spikes adorned their jaw Huh another female he thought. He watched anxiously, waiting for an argument to break out as a third female, pure silver approach the other two. His muscles tensed as a fourth Kylo followed the other three, his jaw had a large spike on it "Male" he mumbled softly. He started forwards from the forest line just in time to see a third female walk to the other three. He walked with more purpose and stood quite close to them, he tried to make himself seem smaller, but still stood taller than them, he was large for a male, and tried not to intimidate them with his size. He smiled to them, all seperatly but gave a nod to the red and black one, noting that she was obviously the 'alpha'. His gaze drew to the male, he gave him a hard stare and a slight frown. "I hope you are aware of the male over there" he mustered his courage and said this in as polite a voice as he could while being loud enough to be heard.

Dusk
For years Dusk traveled endlessly on his own. He was never left behind or banished. He simply left on his own accord thinking it was for the best. He could tell nobody wanted him around. His siblings would whisper about him behind his back and taunt and start picking on him and calling him 'Patches'. They'd play mean tricks on him putting his life in danger many times. The other Kylos of the tribe weren't any help. They too gave him the cold shoulder or would sometimes force him away from the herd a distance away. "He's a living target. He stands out so much predators could spot him a mile away!", "If it weren't for his mother being the mate of our leader he'd be long gone." he'd hear some say. He didn't want anyone to be harmed because of him no matter what they said. Doing what he thought was best, Dusk simply left on one of the days where he was forced to the outskirts of the herd. No one would be looking his way or would have cared. Or so he thought. That was in the past. He could only hope that his absence would benefit the heard. Ever since the mottled Kylo left he'd never stopped traveling. He hadn't seen many herds during his travels and if he did he didn't bother going up to them. Though the longing to belong somewhere grew he kept going. He didn't know where exactly, but he found himself in a forest. This place hid his flank a lot better than out in the open fields. He stopped at the edge of the forest where it broke away once more into a grassy field. Voices told him that others where here. Keeping close to the outskirts of the forest the beast moved around until he got a good view of the speakers. Kylos. A heard perhaps? Though the way they acted around each other told him otherwise. This might be his chance to join a new herd if one was to be forming. Cautiously, Dusk strode out from the shrubbery with his chin held up and gazed at the forming group with a calm gaze. "Hola." he greeted with a small dip of his head unaware that the others might not understand him.
