A little brown wolf pup with tan wings padded through the forest. She had no idea where she was or how she got here. She had gone for a walk and had some how ended up getting lost. Tears began to form in her eyes and she sniffed trying not to cry. But just then it began to rain and rain hard so she began to cry hard. Where was she? "Help, is anyone out there?" She cried out but her voice was washed out by a crack of thunder. She jumped and whimpered and began to run helter skelter through the woods not paying attention to where she was going. But that was how she was able to find the cave. Seeing it up ahead she hoped it would be dry inside. She quickly ran towards it and darted inside without sniffing or looking to see if it was anyone's home. She curled up just inside out of the rain and sniffed once more before drifting to sleep still dripping wet from the rain.

Lupine prowled around the dark forest, how he was here he did not know, one moment he was in the center and the other here, in a dingy lightning lit forest. Both his element, well everything was his element, he gave a soft chuckle to this thought and strolled on. A whimper and call for help alerted him of the presense of... a puppy. He smiled, someone impressionable, brilliant. Lupine stalked through the forest and towards the cave that the pup had retreated to, it was asleep. It had WINGS! That shocked him to no end and gave him more of a reason to befriend the little one. He padded softly to the cave enterance, a flash of lightning causing the moon on his flank to glow slightly and his eyes to be illuminated. He curled his lean frame in the entrance of the cave and growled at any passing creatures as to scare them off, to protect the sleeping pup.

She had barely falling asleep when she was awoken by the sound of something growling. She let out a tiny squeak and jumped to her paws scrambling back as she saw a strange looking dog standing at the entrance to the cave. "Wh-Who are you? What d-do you want?" She flared her wings open in hopes of making herself look bigger and more dangerous then bared her teeth. Though in all honesty she had no idea how to fight or fly yet. Maybe he wouldn't know that, maybe he would think she knew how to fight and fly and would leave her alone. Or maybe he would be able to see right through her display. Oh what to do, what to do.

He gave a soft chuckle and turned around with light, calculated movements "There there little one, I was merely defending you, we wouldn't want anyone hurting you now would we?" he smiled as the pup asked who he was and put on an 'intimidating' display. "Calm yourself little one, for I am Lupine, Prowler of the night, Stalker of the moon, who may I ask are you?" he gave a charming smile to the pup and sat down just besides the entrance leaving it open. He gave a soft nod to the gaping hole to the outside, "You may leave but if you do then you have lost my protection and are fair game to any creature, including me he bared his teeth slightly and briefly. But if you stay then I will protect you and teach you fight, maybe even find someone to teach you how to use them wings of yours he lingered on a warm smile. An offer no pup can refuse...

She blinked he had been keeping her safe, oh that was nice of him. She smiled and laid her wings against her back and bounced towards him playfully. "Nope wouldn't want that, thank you." Lupine oh she liked that name, prowler of the night and stalker of the moon. She giggled at that, "how can you stalk the moon it doesn't move silly. Besides it's way up high and you don't have wings so how could you ever reach it?"She could leave? But it was raining still, wait was that a threat? If she left would he attack her? A wave of fear washed through her once more. No it must of been a joke because he just said if she stayed he would teach her to fight and find someone to teach her to fly. So he had been able to read through her. Well no surprise she was just a pup. "I'll stay, besides, the storm is still raging and I don't want to go out there when it's storming out there."

His hackles raised slightly at the word silly but he forced a chuckle anyway. She would stay. He Glanced around the cave, simple, no furnishings nothing, he sighed. "Normally I would teach you to hunt but the rain will have driven any prey you could hunt underground, so we shall have to start on fighting" He lainched himself over the pup and turned baring his teeth "Give me everything you have, don't be afraid to hurt me" he growled and awaited the pups reaction. Seeing her current fighting skill would help him train her and make her trust him more.

Her eyes widened as his hackles raised, had she said something to make him angry? She whimpered slightly wishing she had stayed at the adoption center but something inside of her told her it was to late for that. Didn't ask her her name or anything straight to work. At the mention of hunting she looked out into the rain and shivered. No thank you. Fighting ok, sure she could give that a try. When he jumped over her she spun around quickly to face him now wanting to turn her back to him. "Well if your sure." She closed her eyes for a second trying to think what she should do. When they snapped open they showed nothing but determination. She crouched low her wings folded flat to give him nothing to bite. Her wings where very fragile. Her tail flicked from side to side before she pounced but came up short and ended up tumbling head over heals landing right at his paws. She let out a whimper, she didn't like this at all.

The pup crouched low and folded her wings in "Good stance" Lupone offered his encouragement. He watched as she leapt and.... fell over in a rather comical way. He sighed and placed a paw on his muzzle. Lupine batted the pup gently round the back of the head "Good try". He strolled to the back of the cave and dug up a small patch of dirt, the soil piling up behind him into a pile the size of the pup. "Attack this" he ordered.

Sky trekked through the dense forest as it poured down raining. Her head hung low as she dragged a soaked rabbit in her jaws. She considered herself lucky as the rabbit practically ran into her paws as it was running about trying to find somewhere to hide from the storm. Now all she had to do was find a nice place to dry and warm up to enjoy her meal. Of course Sky would have eaten it by then, but nobody wants to eat soggy food. Seeing a cave up ahead she ran into it not realizing that it was already occupied. Once inside, eager to get dry, Sky set the rabbit down, took off her scarf and shook her pelt trying to rid as much water as possible. She then took her scarf and did her best to squeeze the water out. Once she got out as much possible the dog wrapped it back around her neck. With her back facing the inside of the cave still not noticing the other two she sat down and began to groom herself.

She wagged her tail as he told her she had a good stance whatever that meant. She was just glad she hadn't done a completely horrific job. He even said good try, she gave a happy yip and spun in a circle once excitedly. As Lupine gathered a pile of dirt for her to attack she heard a noise come from behind her ad turn to look and her eyes grew wide. "Ohhhh so pretty." Forgetting all about her training she ran up to the pretty stranger and pounced on them. "Hi there, who are you? Are you here to help Lupine teach me to fight, hunt and maybe even fly?" She was only a pup and a nameless one at that. And pups rarely where able to concentrate on one thing for to long. Especially when something or someone new and different enters the picture.

Lupine heard the sound of Astro-dog feet, he breifly lnew all of them and hadn't made any enemies so he carried on digging. When he had turned to tell the pup to attach the dirt he saw her leap onto the newcomer. He sat down, back straight and lean body stock still, what would happen?

Sky's ears flicked in the direction of foot steps coming in her direction, but before she could even react she felt the weight of someone on her back in which she fell over. A small wave of panic washed over her. Had she intruded in someones home? She almost let her guard all the way down at the sound of a young pup's voice. "Well, hello there. Could you please get off of me?" she said trying her best not to sound rude trying to sit back up. "Call me Sky, its what I go by." She took a good look at the pup. Huh, they wings. That explained why she asked her about teaching her to fly. "I'm not too sure I'll be much help on teaching you to fly, but hunting and fighting is something i can definitely help you out with. Well, until the rabbit dries." she said in response to the pup's previous questions. Sky looked up to meet the gaze of another astro dog. She was sure they had met before, but only for a brief moment. Too brief to fully catch his name and seeing that no one else was around she could only assume that he was Lupine. "Well, what were you guys doing before I got here?"

The winged pups tail was going back and forth a mile a minute. When the pretty astro dog asked her to get off of her she did. "Sorry," her tongue hung out and there was a giant smile on her face. She turned to look at Lupine and her smile grew bigger. "Hi Sky, I'm... I don't know." She didn't have a name s she didn't know what to say there. She shrugged she would figure something out eventually. Maybe Lupine and Sky would help her. Hearing Sky say she didn't think she could help with flying and her ears laid flat and she gave a slight whimper. But they soon pricked back up at the offer to help with the other stuff. "Oh that's to bad. But at least you can still help." At the mention of rabbit her nose began to twitch and her stomach gave a growl. She hadn't eaten since she had left the adoption agency that morning to go exploring. "Oh we where working on fighting. Lupine was trying to teach me how to attack."

He watched in mild amusement as the pair conversed, Sky seemed nice enough, he could tell she hadn't a cruel bone in her body. "Fighting, you say?" his lithe body carried him forwards and he purred the words. "Perhaps, if you wish, we could spar? I would be at loathe to have a halfwit help train my pup" he put a small emphasis on the word 'my' to imply that unless he let her she should refrain from becoming to friendly with the pup. He yawned and stretched out languidly, spreading his paws right out before him and allowing his body to take up as much space as it needed. He thought about the rabbit, if she fought poorly he could drive her out and share the food with the pup.

Sky could feel the fur rising on her spine as Lupine spoke and didn't bother to try and flatten them. Humph, he didn't have to be so rude. Here she was offering to help out and he didn't show a single ounce of gratitude. Also, from the way he sounded he didn't want her getting to close with the pup. "Spar you say? Sure, I'll take you on." she replied standing up raising her tail to show she wasn't about to back down to his challenge. Once this was over the rabbit will have hopefully dried by then and she'd share it with the pup and only the pup. "Alright, I'm ready. Come at me." she growled.
