The small winged pup took a few steps back confused, why where they going to fight? She laid her ears back a little scared. She didn't want them to fight why couldn't they all just get along? His pup? She wasn't his pup, yes she had stayed so he could teach her but she didn't belong to him, she wasn't property for one to own. Was she? She gave a small whimper and laid down out of the way, she was really hoping Sky would win, she liked her. Lupine tended to scare her a bit but he had the best of intentions for her right? She decided she would stay completely out of this fight and whoever won she would follow. For now at least, after all she had no idea where she was, she didn't know how to hunt or fight so she could easily be killed out there without their help.
The astro dog watched as Skys hackles raised and the pup whimpered and took a step back. hmmm? What are they doing? Are they angry and afraid? Uhh better sort that. He gave a soft chuckle at her behaviour, "Listen love, lets not hurt each other, we just want to show puppo here how to fight" Lupine offered a soft grin before launching himself over to her right where he hooked his back leg around hers, trying to trap it and snapped at her muzzle with pearly white teeth.
Sky heard the pup whimper and tried to reassure her saying, "Its okay. No one's going to get hurt." She rolled hr eyes when Lupnie called her love. Oh please. She did nod when he said not to hurt each other and that they were just showing the winged pup how to fight. With that the astro dog made a move to her right where he hooked a leg around hers. She quickly jerked her head back just before his teeth could make contact with her muzzle and bared her own fangs. Knowing that she'd probably trip and fall over if she moved backwards, Sky aimed to make a few quick swipes at his shoulder.
Sky was smart enough not to trip herself on his leg, but made some pretty accurate swipes at his shoulder. Her claws left deep gashes as he didn't bother moving, he would just fall and be at her mercy then. He bit back a cry and gave her a grin "Come on love, that can't be your best can it?" he had already judged her worthy but he needed a good spar and he had just found a perfect partner. He pushed his wounded shoulder and his flank into hers, in hope of tripping her he hooked his forepaw around hers. His great mistake was that if she fell then so would he, albeit on top of her. None the less he threw his weight into his fellow astro dog.
"I'm not your love." she huffed, but before Sky could say anything else the male astro dog threw his body weight at her which knocked her off balanced. She couldn't regain balance as his foot tripped one of hers and she fell with him landing on top of her. She struggled to gain air as there weren't any in her lungs. "Fine, I was going easy on you at first." she said once she caught her breath. She aimed for his neck snapping her razor like teeth only inches away missing on purpose hoping that he would flinch and rear back so she could escape from underneath him.
Sucsess! He threw her to the ground and as he predicted he fell with her. She snapped at his neck, again he refused to move, hoping to prove her bluff or take the pain as he did last time. He could lose from this move or he could end it fast. She missed and he looked her dead in the eye before gently nipping at the fur on her neck, "Dead" he announced. Lupine fluidly rose to his feet and looked at the winged pup, the fight had been over quickly but he had taken some damage, she had 'died' though, he took some pride in beating her. He gave her a warm smile "Welcome to the family, love" by family he meant him and the pup, not really a family but what else was the star covered dog meant to say? He sat down besides the pup and nuzzled her with his pointed muzzle.
Looks like her bluff didn't work causing her to lose the fight. Well, she knew what was coming next as the moon dog stared at her before nipping at her neck announcing her dead. Oh well, you win some you lose some. Once he was off her, she too stood up and shook her pelt and fixed her scarf. Lupine spoke, welcoming her to the family and once again called her love. She opened her mouth to remind him that she wasn't his love, but closed it thinking the better of it. Her mind immediately went back to the now, less soaked rabbit. Eagerly she went over to it and tore off a leg before nudging the rest to the pup and Lupine. "Don't expect me to share my food all of the time. You'll eventually have to learn how to hunt for yourself. Maybe once to rain lets up we can show you." the cloud covered dog said before chowing down on her meal.
